HYDROMEC helical bevel gears are characterized by their excellent energy efficiency and a wide range of transmission ratios. They offer great advantages during assembly due to the hollow shaft and the mounting surface machined on all sides. Due to the high energy efficiency, the required torque can often be achieved with a small electric motor.
Our gearboxes from the manufacturer HYDROMEC are available in both aluminum and gray cast iron. Of course, we can also deliver our gearboxes to you with an attached electric motor as a helical bevel geared motor. On request, we can also set up your geared motor with an explosion-proof electric motor in accordance with ATEX guidelines. HYDROMEC helical bevel gears offer a wide range of possible uses, partly due to their compactness. The gearboxes are available in 2-, 3- and 4-stage versions and offer a transmission range from i = 4.83 to i = 821.70. Thanks to the simple attachment of an electric motor, thanks to the IEC motor flange, the gearboxes can also be used as helical bevel geared motors. Electric motors up to a motor power of 45.0kW can be attached. The drives are available with both aluminum and cast iron housings. On request, the gearboxes can also be equipped with two shaft sealing rings. The gears are used, for example, in presses or in machine tool construction.
Due to the high rigidity of the housing, helical bevel gears enable very precise positioning and offer a high standard of quality. In addition, the gearboxes are characterized by their high power density and, thanks to their smooth surface, are easy to clean. This enables use in hygienically demanding applications, for example. With efficiencies of up to 96%, helical bevel gears are also considered to be particularly energy-efficient. At the same time, they are characterized by their extremely smooth running. Flexibility, high efficiency, universal installation positions and high rigidity make the gear an ideal drive for high quality requirements.
