VAR-SPE hydrostatic variable speed gears
The company VAR-SPE was founded in Italy in 1963 and offers hydrostatic variable speed drives as variable speed drives.
The compact hydrostatic variable speed drives from VAR-SPE offer an excellent performance ratio, a large control range and are particularly suitable for high starting torques. The variable speed gears are used in particular in explosion-proof environments. The speed is adjusted either manually, pneumatically or electrically. Various solutions are available for automatic control, such as soft start, reverse control and control via the programmable logic controller of the machine or system. Automation in a hazardous environment (ATEX II 2GD area) can be implemented easily and cost-effectively with the hand wheel adjustment or the Code 52 control.
We are happy to offer you sizes K2 – 17B for these gearboxes. Of course, the attachment of an electric motor is possible. Motors with a power range from 0.37 kW to 22 kW can be attached to the gearbox.

Accordingly, the gearboxes are ideal for use in potentially explosive environments. Depending on customer requirements, the ATEX classifications Ex II 2 GDbc IP65 T135°CX, Ex II 2 GDc IP65 T180°C and Ex II 3 GDc IP65 T135°C can be covered.
