ATEX motors

We supply to you single-phase motors, three-phase motors, AC motors and squirrel-cage motors from stock as explosion-proof motors according to ATEX directives called ATEX motors. ATEX motors are used in the field of petrochemistry, stirrer technology, ventilation technology, fire-fighting equipment technology as well as in the field of bakery equipment technology and in mill construction. Our ATEX motors correspond in protection system and equipment to all European standards and can be used according to the European directive ATEX 94/9 / CE or short ATEX. ATEX motors are suitable for use in explosive environments as well as in all environments where sparks may occur. All ATEX motors for Zone 1 and Zone 2 are available.

 

The capacitor for single-phase motors is housed in a special, cylindrical Ex d housing, which is attached to the electric motor. Otherwise, the capacitor must be attached to another safe location. If the winding is equipped with thermal protection (usually PTC), these ATEX motors can also be used for frequency inverter operation.
